BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Box Tops = Free Money for Palm Lake

Box Tops makes it easy to raise money for our school. Box Tops funds have paid for new playground equipment, cooling fans for the PE pavilion and benches for the Kindergarten pickup area.

When everyone pitches in, those little cardboard squares really add up! From August through October 2007, Palm Lake families delivered enough Box Tops to earn nearly $750 for our school! And we’re just getting started…

2007-2008 School Year Goal: $2,000 for Playground Equipment

The approaching school renovation will be great – but new playground equipment is not part of the renovation plans. Box Tops funds will help make the playground areas as terrific as the renovated school!

Clip, Shop…and Win!

CLIP: Grow the Box Tops fund by clipping Box Tops and sending them into school – use this PDF collection form and send each sheet in as soon as it is completed. Box Tops are (nearly) everywhere! Kleenex, Ziploc, Chex, Huggies, Pillsbury, Yoplait, Cheerios, Betty Crocker, Pop Secret…the list goes on and on.

SHOP: Earn money for Palm Lake by doing your online shopping through the Box Tops Marketplace tab – merchants donate a percentage of each sale to Palm Lake. Online merchants include Harry & David, Oriental Trading, Land’s End, PotteryBarn, Barnes & Noble.com, Lillian Vernon and Gap.com – and dozens more!

WIN: You might win thousands of dollars for Palm Lake by winning one of many Box Tops Promotions sweepstakes. Entering is easy once you’ve logged into the site.

For a full list of participating products, merchants and sweepstakes, go to http://boxtops4education.com – you can even check out how much we’ve raised so far.*

Did you know that some schools raise over $4,000 each year just from Box Tops? We’re sure those schools don’t have the amazing parents that we do – we should be able to EXCEED our goal without breaking a sweat.

Secret Sneaky Tip

Insider tip: Grandparents love to help, especially when your child sends them a personalized collection sheet. Print a collection sheet, have your child add his name, grade and teacher – and maybe color it – and mail it to a favorite relative with a short note. When you get it back, encourage your child to write a thank you note (a sneaky tip to slip in some writing practice…)

*The BoxTops4Education website updates our school’s total in mid-November and mid-April each year. We’ll update this Palm Lake page more frequently.
