"COUNSELOR'S CORNER"

Our theme this year "is "Making A Difference" - 20 Years of Character! reminds us that as parents, teachers and staff at Palm Lake Elementary we must work together to build "kids with character". We will use our 8 pillar words as the foundation for our program (Responsibility, Respect, Citizenship, Caring, Cooperation, Trustworthiness, Patience and Fairness. but we are also adding new words of character each month.

In September, our focus will be on Responsibility. We will be working on Responsibility for class work, homework, and our own actions and treating others as we want to be treated.

In October and November we will introduce Respect and Citizenship, two of the most important character traits. We will be working on taking Respect and Citizenship in the lunchroom, hallways and classrooms.
