WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE FOURTH GRADE?

2005 CLASSES BUILD FLORIDA MAPS

The fourth grade classes use chemistry to create salt maps for their Florida History projects. Each student mixes salt and flour to create an "authentic" landscape for their maps. After the mixture has dried, the students color and label the maps with a description of their project.

FOURTH GRADE CLASS CREATES NATIVE AMERICAN POTTERY

A fourth grade class created pottery for their Native American Studies portion of their curriculum. They used different types of instruments to embellish the clay and their imagination to create a great finished product.
