WHAT'S HAPPENING IN KINDERGARTEN? |
STUDENT VISIT CHILDREN'S SAFETY VILLAGE |
 Palm
Lake Elementary kindergarten student recently went on a field trip to the
Children's Safety Village. At the Safety Village, the children learned about
fire safety, road safety, crossing the street, and saying no to strangers
from two Deputies and a fire fighter. The children also learned about signs
that help us stay safe, such as railroad crossings, exit signs in buildings,
and crosswalk signs. The
children not only listened and watched about safety, but the Safety Village
had them actively engaged in how to react to certain situations safely.
It was a great learning experience for both the children and adults that
attended! |
